The Story So Far ~ One Year of Blogging!

Holy crap! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I started this little blog.

A year ago I introduced us and the blog and told you a bit about myself (anthropology, field school). I started talking about our past show season (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) and didn’t finish talking about it until July when I told you about our less than stellar debut at Trillium Championships. I also blogged about last years show season (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

I’ve done a lot of lesson recaps (fading, half-halt, outside ride, basics, gymnastics, half-seat, sleepy boy, Forward, don’t anticipate, rhythm, dino-socks, crazy town, derby night, lesson, flat, show prep, straightness, lesson, show prep, clinic, coach D, distance, after rhythm, jumper lesson, clover leaf, flat, 2 strides, Tucker’s a jerk, flat, jump, flat, bad lesson, jump, lesson, stretch).

I talked about how I never fall off and then I fell off… twice. I’ve discussed chiropractic appointments (Tuckers, mine, Tuckers, Tuckers) and how the outcome makes me dance like a cracked out elf.

I’ve talked a lot about tack and all the things I need want (adulting, Greenhawk sale, field boots, 5 things I don’t need, things I can’t live without, SUDS, Greenhawk sale, Secret Santa).

I let you in on what I’d do if I won the lottery (dream barn, tack room) and spoiler alert foresaw the future (more on that another day).

I shared some of our regular daily routines (bath time, swamp thing, boot camp, lead changes, listen to me, rides, Life of a Hunter, Bromance, Darcy Tucker, random, drunken sailor straight, chub rub, no stirrups, dog house, Tucker, thrush, random, short stirrup horse in the making) and some of my thought processes (negativity, superstitions, perspective, thoughts, 10 things I’ve learned, ramblings, if not now, when?, heart horse).
