I’m not sure if it was meant to be a blog hop or not but Karley over at All In is asking about how you would outfit a tack room.

My current tack storage situation
Getting close to a year ago now (I can’t believe I’ve been blogging that long) I posted about my dream barn. It seems only fitting that my dream barn have a dream tack room. The timing of this couldn’t be much better… but more on that in the next few months.
Side note: I did a lot of stealing of pictures off random sites. I’ve tried to give credit but it was difficult to find the originals. If the picture is yours and you want it removed or credit added please message me.
A locker for each horse:
Love the size of these double door lockers. So much space for all the things that we equestrians acquire.
A place to clean tack:
How awesome would that island with pullout saddles racks be. Only please a little bit taller because that height would hurt my back.
A wall for notes and scheduling:
Nice and big so everyone can see it and knows what’s going on.
Storage for blankets and saddle pads:
Blankets hanging on the front of stall can get so messy. The tack room would also need a wall with hooks for drying wet blankets.
A place for boots, helmets, hairnets and gloves:
I love this. It would be so great to not waste locker space and have a place for all the essentials.
Laundry and fridge:
I hate doing laundry. I hate dragging home dirty horse stuff to wash. Laundry at the barn would be so cool. A fridge would also be really great.
Storage for the necessities:
A central place for wraps, towels, first aid stuff. Also check out that kingsbarn website. Holy crap do I ever need to get on that whole winning a lottery thing.
Some interesting “art”:
I love bones! Also it would help teach kids for their rider levels.
A comfy place to lounge with barn friends:

Because who wants to leave the barn?!?!
A place to display everyone’s awards:
Obviously this dream barn would be full of horses that win all the things!
Thanks Karley for the great blog idea!
Um, I would come board at your fantasy barn! Save me a stall and one of those double lockers!

umm yes! I’ll take all of that!! I would never, ever want to leave a tack room like that!
Except for the bones, that would creep me out. But they can be easily moved, so I’ll still take it!

Wow, these are a few levels up from anything I’ve seen before – stunning! Although I think I would need to buy new tack to match…. and with all that lovely tack I would want some serious security too. These beautiful and organised tack rooms would be like sweety shops for thieves! Actually just written a blog post looking at horse tack security http://www.equisupermarket.co.uk/blog/horse-tack-security but if you had the money to create these tack rooms, then you would have the money to get the locks, alarm systems, CCTV, guard dogs, laser beams… – the works!
