I’ve always wanted my own stable. I’ve dreamt about have a beautiful facility that would offer boarding and lessons. A place where I’d be able to have multiple horses of my own and maybe dabble in breeding (if I had a mare good enough). A property large enough for ample turnout and to hold large horse shows.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have millions of dollars to spend on such a property. The money to install top of the line everything. No expense spared on every luxury your horse could ever want or need.
You’d drive up a tree lined driveway and pass our modest home on the left.
At the end of the driveway would be the barn.
You’d be able to see some of the paddocks and rings from the driveway and parking lot.
The entry of the barn would be open. With interlock brick. A big comfy boarder lounge to the right with oversized couches and chairs, book and trophy cases, and a TV to watch recordings of your rides. There would be a large dining/meeting room to the left with a giant wood table and small kitchenette. Upstairs there would be office space.
There would be bright, airy aisles for the boarders.
And a huge tack room with an area to clean tack.
There would be a whole separate section for the riding school. It would be just as nice, but not quite as large or ornate.
The viewing rooms would be designed with comfort in mind.
The indoor arena would be huge with skylights and really good lighting. It would also be heated for those cold Canadian winters.
I bought a lotto ticket for the 50 million draw this week. Fingers crossed!
What would your dream barn look like?
I like your choices!

Thanks! Feel free to come up for a visit once it’s built… And once I’ve won the lotto.
